Disability Service study carrels (J B Priestley Library: Floor 0 and The Study Hub (Floor 01)) Capacity: 3

Description

These study carrels can be booked by students who have a Learner Support Profile (LSP) in place that covers the use of these rooms.

The maximum time you can book is now 4 hours per day to give more students the opportunity to use the rooms.

Carrel Room 0.08 is on Floor 0 near the printers. Please ensure you collect the access card within the first hour of your booking, after this time we will cancel your booking if another student requests the room. The access card must be returned to the desk at the end of your booking or to the security guard if returning the card after 17:00. Use of this room beyond 19:00 or on days when the staff desk is closed is not permitted for health and safety reasons. 

The carrels on Floor 02 have now been closed. These have been replaced by the new Skylark and Swaledale rooms in the Study Hub on floor 01. 

No access card is needed to access these new rooms. They are reserved exclusively for students with the appropriate adjustments on their LSP to book from 09:00-19:00 daily. From 19:00 and at weekends they are treated as standard group study rooms, bookable by any student for a maximum of 2 hours via our group study room booking page.
